All About the New Ridgid MEGAMax

We have been somewhat patiently waiting for the day we can try out the new Ridgid MEGAMax in our shop. We got to use it for the first time in New York this past spring and it was the most creative tool our eyes have laid eyes on. Who knew you could change a reciprocating saw into a right angle drill head? 

The mother of the tool is the MEGAMax Brushless 18V Power Base. It's the industries most powerful interchangeable tool system. Also, can't forget to mention that this tool is octane that provides maximum performance in high demand applications. The smart Power Base automatically identifies the attached head and configures to match. 

Let's get into the attachments. The MEGAMax reciprocating saw attachment head is the industry's most powerful reciprocating saw when connected to Power Base and OCTANE Battery. It has an on/off orbital action and you can attach the head in 4 different directional head positions, so you can make the cut without it being to awkward. 

Next up...the MEGAMax 1/2 in. Right Angle Drill Attachment Head. It's heavy-duty metal gears and 1/2' chuck for job site durability. Also has high torque output to power through any application. This head also has the ability to rotate in 4 directional positions. 

All in all. This tool has the ability and capability to do any kind of job no matter how big or small. Super impressed by this tool as a whole and very interested to see if Ridgid comes out with new heads for the base!
