OK. We all know sanding is the least fun job about woodworking or revamping things around the house. This new DEWALT 20-volt Cordless Brushless Random Orbit Sander is the bomb and might change your views on sanding. First off, it's cordless. The DEWALT DCW210B allows you to sand without the hassle of a cord, and who likes a cord anyway.
Next, the hook and loop pads are designed for easy replacement. I can't tell you how many times on our old sander that the pad was pretty much falling off and we just didn't want to go through the hassle to replace it. Not anymore!
This sander is part of the DEWALT 20-Volt Max Battery system (batteries and charger sold separately). So when you purchase the battery for this sander, you will have the battery you need for any other 20-volt DEWALT tool!
We especially like the low overall height of the sander. This can allow you to get into more tight spaces to get that job done! Having the tool brushless can guarantee you a long running time even with the battery.
Everything about this sander is something we love. The comfortable rubberized grip, the ergonomic design, how lightweight it is, coming in at 1.9 LBS., plus the fact that it's battery powered.
My favorite featured of this tool, is how fast it shuts off when you flip the switch to off. Usually you have to wait around for the sander to stop orbiting before you can set it back down on a table. This one stops instantly!
Another feature that comes in handy is how the power switch and speed dial are close to each other, allowing you to change settings and flip the switch with just one finger.
We would totally recommend the DEWALT 20-volt Cordless Brushless Random Orbit Sander over and over.
