1. Gator Finishing 7800 Step-123 Micro Zip Sander Project Pack
Gator Finishing 7800 Step-123 Micro Zip Sander Project Pack
Gator Finishing
Price: $12.47
Hands down, best invention to help with sanding. The sponge-like handle can wrap around curves when sanding edges which is amazing! Usually when sanding just with sandpaper in your hand, your hand could get tired or you fingers might burn if your pressing down hard enough. We love having these in our shop to handle the smaller sanding jobs our random orbital sander might destroy.
2. Rockler 3-Piece Silicone Glue Application Kit
ROCKLER
Price: $20.00
Best of the best. I wish I could physically show you how much we love this kit. After you apply glue with any of the tools, let it dry, and you can peel it off with nothing left over. I get so giddy when it's time to peel off the dried glue. Pure satisfaction. The brush is an awesome glue applicator. The other end of the brush is used to get into more tighter spaces, like cracks or joints. We use this for every single glue up we do.
3. Fastcap Mag Shims - Setup Gauge
Fastcap Mag Shims - Setup Gauge
Fastcap, LLC
Price: $24.10
These are so nice to have especially when installing drawer fronts. They can be used for so many other things like setting depth stops for drill presses and routers, and table saw blade heights. They are also great because they have different size radii on each corner of each shim, so it's great for tracing. One of the best things is that they all magnetize together so it makes it hard to lose some.

6. MILWAUKEE Shockwave Impact Duty Driver Screwdriving Bit Set (142-Piece)
Milwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty Steel Drill Bits and Screw Driver Set 142 pc.
Milwaukee
Price: $29.88
You will literally never need another drill bit again. This kit is definitely the best bang for your buck with 142 bits that range from screw driving bits to drill bits for impact drivers to nut drivers. Not to mention that these custom machined tips last 30x longer than typical tips. These also absorb 3x more torque than other bits. We have been using these for a while now and absolutely love them.
7. Rockler Silicone Project Mat
Price: 29.99
For anyone working with glue, epoxy, anything sticky, this is the perfect gift. We have used this project mat in our shop for years and love having it around for glue ups. Put this on a work surface when using liquid materials, like glue. If you get some on the mat, no worries because when it dries you can easily peel it off and it's as good as new.
Rockler just came out with an XL Project Matas well. It measures 23-1/2''W x 30-1/4''L and the XL mats can be connected together to cover your entire workbench top. These are also heat-resistant, so it's a good barrier for hot glue guns.
8. Dremel Stylo+, Versatile Craft Tool
DREMEL MFG CO
Price: $49.97
This is the ultimate craft tool for any kind of craft. The Stylo sands, engraves, etches, and polishes with ease. It's so fun engraving a wood sign or a leather tool holder or bag. This kit also comes with 15 accessories so you are good to go with everything you need to get started.
9. Multi-Max 3.5 Amp Variable Speed Corded Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit
Dremel
Price $99
We did an entire review of this as well, you can read all about that here. But basically, if you're buying for a handyman, woodworker, DIYer, they should all have this in their kit. It's the best and smallest tool for cutting wood, metal, PVC, and has sanding attachments. There is also a tool-less accessory change so you can switch out accessories quickly. This is a tool that we have always had in our shop. This one is actually the brand new 3.5 amp one with a new design for changing out accessories. This one is our favorite one!
10. RYOBI 18-Volt ONE+ Lithium-Ion Cordless Brushless Drill/Driver-Impact Driver Kit
Price: $149
We have been using Ryobi drills for years. They have lasted up such a long time and do everything we need them to. We have kept upgrading when they came out with new ones and the brushless Drill/Driver are our favorite. You definitely get everything you need out of the drill and driver for $150. This kit also comes with 2 batteries, bag, and charger!
Thank you for taking the time to read this little gift guide! I hope you found this useful for your holiday shopping this year. Like I said before, we have used each and every one of these tools, some are pretty new to us and others we have used for years. We hope you and your family have a great holiday season!
