Husky 700 Lumen Utility Light | Review

The Husky 700 Lumen Utility Light is a great light accessory to have around the shop. It can be a real pain when you are working, your hands are tied up holding an important piece in place, and you need some light to see what you are doing. This is where this light can come into play and help out a ton! This light has a combination handle and stand for multiple light angles and hands free use, up to a 4 hour runtime on high.
Speaking of run time and modes, this light has two of them, high and low. You can easily change the modes with the all-in-one button. This button is also the power button, so press once to turn on, again for high mode, again for low mode, and then the fourth time is to turn it off. Pretty simple right?
One of the best things we noticed when opening up the packaging is that there is 6AA batteries included. How annoying is it when you get home from purchasing a tool or toy and you realize you need batteries. You check your pantry, drawers, fridge, or where ever you keep yours, there's none. Now you have to make an inconvenient trip back up to the store. The point is, the light comes with batteries.
Another thing that we like is the combination handle that we touched on a second ago. So it folds down so the light can sit up, but it's also adjustable so you get the right angle, it folds around 180°. When it's all the way flat, you can carry it easily and you can also hang it up if you don't have a space to set it down.
As far as the light goes, it's pretty bright at 700 lumens and the beam can reach to 65ft (20 m). Pretty solid if you ask me. This light is great to keep indoors in your shop, or outside at a job site when it gets dark. You could also keep this inside your car so if you ever (hope that you don't!) get a flat tire, or have engine troubles, this is a solid light to set on the ground or up under the hood.
