We Tried the Ridgid 9 Gallon Cordless Shop Vacuum

This post is sponsored The Home Depot.

If you ever read any of our blogs or have been around our Instagram for a minute, you know how much we love to have a clean shop. Well, we try our best to keep it clean and organized. There are times where it gets pretty hectic. Anyways, I had NO IDEA there was a cordless shop vacuum! Are you kidding me?! Where has this been all my life? The Ridgid 18-Volt 9 Gal. Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum is everything.

We have always had corded vacuums in the shop and it's super hard because our shop is pretty small and dragging a huge vacuum, while also looking for an outlet, is difficult. The majority of our vacuums are stationary for a certain tool, so having a small enough one to roll around is great.

The Ridgid 9 Gallon Cordless Shop Vacuum can be run with one or two batteries for double the runtime! If you think this cordless vacuum would lack in the pick-up power, boyyy are you wrong. It has the same power as its 9-gallon counterpart.

So, what all comes in the box? You get a 7ft. hose, 3 extension wands, utility nozzle, wet nozzle, car nozzle, and a filter. The only thing you have to assemble is the casters. In the past, we have gotten vacuums where you have to put on the handle, casters and accessory holders. Not this one!

I love this vacuum for a particular MAJOR reason. Well, major to me. Taking it outside to vacuum out my car and not worrying about dragging out an extension cord! It's seriously the best thing ever. It makes the job just a little bit more enjoyable, because who likes to clean the car anyways. But also you get done faster. There is no setup time and no put-away time other than putting the vacuum back inside. Not to mention it's the first full-sized vac with ample capacity and durability.

We absolutely love having the Ridgid 9 Gallon Cordless Shop Vacuum around the shop. You can read more about it here and check it out online!
