Miter saws! What are you going to do without one, you know? We recently brought theDEWALT 15-Amp Corded 12 in. Double-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw into our shop. Right out of the box, it is pretty much ready to go. I did have to adjust the blade angle to set it square, but other than that it's all good!
Let's go ahead and get into the specifics shall we.
This is a 12" Compound Miter Saw that comes with a blade wrench, dust bag and 12" carbide blade. All super super helpful. The dust bag especially when you are on a job site. We have a dust collection system in our miter saw station, so that is what we will be using the majority of the time.
Loads of features in this saw with adjustable detent plate, cam lock miter handle & detent override. The tall sliding fence extends outwards for support and increased precision and this saw allows you cut 60 degrees to the right and 50 degrees to the left. Also, the maximum cut depth is 6.75"! This saw is ideal for cutting crown molding up to 7 1/2", so all you trim guys and gals out there, this saw is for you!
We absolutely love the sliding aspect of this saw. I don't think we will ever go back to one without it. It makes cutting those, usually, really awkward widths a whole lot easier. And not just even easier, it makes it possible. We can typically miter any board that we are working with, with this saw.
This saw has all the bells and whistles, so if you are in the market for a new miter saw, or picking out your first one, you can check this one out in stores at The Home Depot, or click hereto check it out online!
