Vacuums are very important in our shop. Gotta keep it clean, you know? We have had our fair share of vacuums through the years and this RIDGID 12 Gal. 5.0-Peak HP NXT Wet Dry Vac seems to be the perfect size. Kind of like Goldilocks, this one is not to big and not to small, it's just right at 12 gallons. If not every night, then at least 3 times a week I will go around the shop to vacuum and sweep. It's honestly kind of relaxing.
The RIDGID 12 Gal. 5.0-Peak HP NXT Wet Dry Vac is great value with it's high performance for tough messes, coming in at only $84.97!
Some features that we love having:
• The wet nozzle and built-in drain, ideal cleanup solution for liquids
• The hose has 180° mobility, so it doesn't collapse
• The drum can house the hose with the hose clamps for storage or transportation
• Casters can house hose attachments and nozzles
• Easy to pick up and carry with the handle being on top, rather than the side.
Our favorite thing about this vacuum is the hose storage. Such a huge help to keeping the hose on the vacuum and not flopping and falling all over the place. Also the handle on the top definitely deserves two high fives. Nothing is more annoying than carrying a big round object awkwardly.
This vacuum can also be turned into a blower by attaching the hose to the back port. You can blow out sawdust or take it to the yard and blow leaves. This is a very powerful vacuum, in fact it is "part of the most powerful line of wet dry vacs RIDGID has ever made"! Plus this features the RIDGID lifetime warranty. We would totally recommend this vacuum over and over again for it's performance and drum capacity!
