DREMEL MULTI-MAX 3.5 AMP VARIABLE SPEED CORDED OSCILLATING TOOL KIT | Review

We absolutely love having the Dremel Multi-Max 3.5 AMP Variable Speed Corded Oscillating Tool Kit in our shop. It has so many uses and we just can't get enough of it! Sometimes you may find yourself in a pickle. There's an awkward corner that needs to be sanded, or a rectangle hole needs to be cut out of the wall, you name it, this can get the job done.
My favorite part is the tool-less blade change which provides ability to change blades faster and reposition blades easier. The New Quick-hold accessory interface allows for a “one-handed operation” while changing blades. The blade is held in place while the user secures it. On older versions of the Multi-Max you would have to turn a lever to open so you can slip in the blade or accessory in. This new way works a whole lot better in our opinion. All you have to do is push the knob down, boom. You're good to go.
The new 3.5 amp is so powerful and could honestly tear through anything. The wide variable speed ranges from 10K to 21K oscillations per minute. Holy cow. There are so many great accessories for the Multi-Max as well, it just doesn't cut wood. The best things to do with this tool is sanding, cutting wood, drywall and metal, grout removal, tile removal, honestly the possibilities are endless. I find ourselves using it most to sand corners inside boxes and cutting out spaces for outlets so sit in, since we mostly do furniture related projects. We are hoping to get more into renovating houses, and I already know we will be breaking this tool out a ton to help with some jobs.
Here's some great accessory kits for the Dremel Multi-Max:
Oscillating Tool Cutting and Variety Accessory Kit for Wood, Metal, and Drywall (9 Pieces
Multi-Max Universal Oscillating Tool Accessory Set for Wood Metal and Drywall (10-Accessories)
I love having everything to do with a certain tool all in the same spot. This kit comes with a bag to store the tool and the 12 accessories that come with, so definitely worth the $99 for the entire kit. If you don't have a Multi-Max already, go for this new and improved one to conquer any and all projects and tasks.
